Here’s my take on a no bake Oreo tart… A simple and easy recipe that only requires 5 ingredients and zero effort…
INGREDIENTS:
- 300g crushed Oreos
- 100g chopped Oreos
- 50g baby Oreos
- 150g melted butter
- 400g dark cooking chocolate (available in the baking aisle in supermarkets – also milk chocolate will work just as well)
- 150ml Double Cream (thickened cream is also great if you can find it!)
PREPARATION:
- Place 300g of Oreos into a blender until you reach a fine crumb, once you have this start adding in the melted butter
- Add the mixture into a flat tin, round or square – entirely up to you! I used a round one. You will need to pay it down firmly into the tin and make sure the whole tin is covered
- Pop it in to the fridge for around 20 minutes
- Whilst you are letting that chill you need to get started on your filling… Add the dark chocolate and the cream to a microwaveable bowl for 30 seconds at a time – stirring after every interval, until you reach a smooth consistency
- Take out your chilled Oreo base and place the chocolate on top
- Grab the Oreos you smashed up earlier and sprinkle them all over the tart as well as the baby ones
- If you can – try to wait 24 hours so that you can get the perfect base and chocolate filling! If you can’t then after four hours, take out of the fridge and VOILA! It’s ready…
Enjoy… xoxo
